About the Book
In The Good Liar, Denise Mina introduces us to Dr Claudia O’Sheil, a blood‑spatter expert whose testimony once sent a killer to prison—but now she realizes it was wrong. As she prepares to address her peers, the weight of her misjudgment looms large. Faced with the knowledge that her forensic “evidence” was flawed, Claudia must choose between protecting her reputation or telling the truth and risking everything. A compelling and suspenseful study of complicity, guilt, and moral courage.
