UK Black History Month 2026

Every October, UK Black History Month celebrates the achievements, culture and contributions of Black people in Britain and beyond. It's a time to recognise stories that have too often gone untold, and to make sure they're read and remembered all year round.

Our collection brings together brilliant Black authors from around the world, from beloved classics to exciting new voices. There's fiction, memoir, history and poetry here, all well worth discovering.
