Pride Reading List

Pride is a celebration of LGBTQ+ lives, love and identity, and a reminder of how hard the community has fought to be seen and heard. Stories matter, and every reader deserves to find themselves on the page. Sharing queer and trans stories, in all their variety, helps build understanding, empathy and a world where everyone belongs.

This collection brings together some of our top picks for LGBTQ+ representation. It's mostly fiction, with a selection of memoir and non-fiction too. You'll find love stories, coming-of-age tales and powerful accounts of identity and community. These are books to celebrate with, learn from and share, during Pride Month and all year round.
