An Evening at the Inn: Chiara Bullen at The Bookmonger in Conversation with Shiv of Shivsbookshelf
Celebrating her debut cosy fantasy, The Inn at the Foot of Mount Vengeance, a conversation chaired by the incredible Shiv of Shivsbookshelf.
Some books feel like an adventure. Others feel like coming home. Chiara Bullen's debut manages both.
We're delighted to welcome Scottish author Chiara Bullen to The Bookmonger to celebrate the launch of The Inn at the Foot of Mount Vengeance, a heart-warming, poignant cosy fantasy about ambition, belonging, and the quiet magic of finding where you're meant to be. She'll be joined in conversation by Siobhan "Shiv" Grady of Shiv's Bookshelf for a cosy, thoughtful, and joyful evening among fellow readers.
About the Book
Behind every hero, there's a historian.
Ainsworth Gladsly, an ambitious young historian, is sent to a rustic inn at the foot of the legendary Mount Vengeance to document the adventurers who brave its dragon-topped peak. But as he warms to the inn's charm, and its lovely innkeeper, Honey, he makes a troubling discovery: no one has ever actually climbed the mountain. With his academic reputation on the line, it's a centuries-old mystery he can't leave unsolved.
