With Pounamu, former Cloudy Bay head winemaker Eveline Fraser expanded her range that explores the subtleties of Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc. Following on from her Little Beauty and Insight projects, Pounamu started as a single vineyard Sauvignon that offers all the key characteristics of the Marlborough region – fresh herbaceous and tropical fruit characters leading to a mouth-watering, clean finish. She then added a Pinot Gris and a Pinot Noir, which both underline Eveline’s ability to create sophisticated, balanced wines that offer excellent value for money.
